I could use some help from those of us who understand what's going on here.

Very simply, the art-department and label folks must've had their heads up their asses when they designed the label copy and jacket art and copy, and the some overly literal-minded s have allowed this ridiculousnus to perpetuate, since it's not clear from the various versions of the "PADLOCK MINI-LP" who's who and what's what.

    Repeat after me:
    Gwen Guthrie is the ARTIST,
    "Padlock" is the TITLE.
    ;)

Don't know if it will help but I've just scanned the label of my UK 12" copy of Hopscotch:

and Peanut Butter is a Grace Jones track ...damn them drugged island disco funksters ;)

Apparently from the Com Point All Stars profile page "Peanut Butter was reworked for Grace Jones, to become Pull Up To The Bumper", that could be true when one see the team and apparently Peanut Butter is an instrumental…

Now back to Padlock (!?), no dates give in Released field but 2005 and a Nippon CD is mentioned in the Notes field, the only Japanese CD i know of is from 2003!

And this Padlock (Special Mixes) should be cleaned up as well: (Larry Levan Remix) displayed on all Track Titles but not so when looking at the scans…

For what it's worth, I bought a copy of Genius of Rap way back in 1982 and the long (7:02?) version of "Peanut Butter" on side D is basically an instrumental of "Pull Up To The Bumper" (and, even further off-topic, "Rappa Rappa Rhythm" on Side C is a reworked version of "Genius of Love").

At the risk of really stretching the boundaries of topic-drift, thanks again to LordMuck for pointing out the above double-LP!

Needless to say there are no affordable and/or Very Good (or better) condition copies close to the usa.
    :(

Thanks for the help and involvement of all fellow "Disco Geeks"!
    :^)
I'm going to start cleaning up the accepted edits over the next few days now that the "discogs community" has reached somewhat of a consensus that the Late Great Gwen Guthrie is the primary artist and that "Padlock EP" or "Padlock Mini-LP" or some to-be-agreed-upon variation thereof is the title.

Then shouldn't a few release from Garage Records be updated as well?
