CISFINITUM live in Bremen at the St.Petri Dome in November 2005
& looking for concerts in central Europe November 2005!

We can announce a great event: Moscow-based drone & industrial-act CISFINITUM will perform
in Bremen on Thursday, November 24, in the big St.Petri-Dome, as part of the REM-series
(Reihe elektronischer Musik / Rapid Ear Movement)!!
Its the first time CISFINITUM is performing in and also the first time
a Drone Records-act is performing in this more than 1000 year old HUGE church!

We are now looking for further gigs for CISFINITUM in or near-by countries
(NL, Bel, PL, FR, DK..) around this date. Since all costs for transport & VISA to
are already paid by the Bremen-show, there's a chance to organize a concert
of this legendary & long-existing russian experimental project with lowest budget!
If interested & for details, get in touch with: Stefan/Drone or Voron/Cisfinitum

Heh, if we're going as far forward as next week :-), I'm going to Black Celebration 7 on Sun 6th - currently: Deathboy, Faetal and Tracer, but they've already gone through two headliners already, so I expect more changes.

I went to that Thorofon and Echo West concert yesterday. Echo West was OK but Thorofon were amazing. Very good power industrial with male and female voices. But more attention for some made the appearance of Mr. and Mrs. Arafna as visitors to this concert.

ABC - Enjoy KMFDM, they were brilliant last night, far better than last year. Panic DHH, though, didn't impress me at all - excessively noisy for the sake of it and reminded me of nothing more than NIN eleven years ago.

I have just seen LPD a couple of hours ago (in Stockholm). A great show that really could match my high expectations. Last time I saw them was 1998. But the vital energy of Edward and Niels was just as sparkling as it was back then.
Too bad the audience was just approx 60 ppl :-(
But nevertheless it was a great experience and a joyful evening.

Prurient & Wolf Eyes was actually at a venue on the university campus. The stained-glass window is the venue's trade-mark (there's lights behind it; it doesn't face outdoors -- located in the basement of this building).

I was on the Janitor and Bad Sector concert on Friday. It was a perfect evening.
It started with Janitor. They played a mixture of instrumental and vocal tracks like they do it on their albums. Included were all known vocal tracks except of my favourite track "Mother's Womb". The instrumental tracks were shorter versions of those you know from the albums. They played about one hour and ten minutes. A very good performance with a little bit drunken Lina Baby Doll, but this is standard for him. I had a small talk to him that evening and we spoke about the Cold Meat Festival in Australia from which he returned just one day before. So he was really tired.
Second performance was by Bad Sector. Massimo played live the Kosmodrom album which I didn't know until now. I liked it very much but it was different from that what I expected from Bad Sector. I have never heard rhythmic tracks from him before. This performance last about one hour.
    A perfect evening.
And I bought some records from Tesco Organisation who offered some stuff from their mailorder at this event.

Thanks for the review of the show Bill. I wish I could have went!!

Last night I saw again the great CCC CNC NCN. They did an interesting performance against the Winter Olympics that are taking place these days in our city Torino. The music was a mix of dark electronics and metal percussions, and the hooded of this mysterious industrial collective walked among the crowd "playing" long plastic tubes like they were Tibetan horns, while another one brought a parody of olympic flame and set fire to a large 5 rings olympic symbol with a swastika incorporated in it. At the end of the show they threw fuel barrels and pieces of scrap metal at the audience's feet and then handed mallets and sticks, inviting everyone to play their own music. The result was a caothic but powerful orgy of improvised industrial percussions, played by approximately 30 people together. A nice collective therapy.

Reminds of description of Crash Worship shows :-)))

  • Show this post
I was never so lucky to attend a Crash Worship show. I doubt they ever came to perform in Italy. I was told great things, however.
CCC CNC NCN used to do more extreme things back in the 80s, for example when they simulated mass suicide inside a squat causing hysteria in the audience. Their show last year as opening for Throbbing Gristle was pure genious, including a rain of lime that was hard time to tear off my hair...

  • Show this post
Scrap_Iron : wow, sounds impressive. Never have had such a experience. I love shows which are little crowded, cause those people are mostly more interested in the performer(s) instead of talking continuously during the show. CC i have never seen live either. I bumped on them early '90's by an article in a forgotten musiczine. Infact, most artists i discovered the last 15 years was by accident

in case anyone here is in Australia, this came in from The Loop Orchestra:

Do you need a stimulus to clear out last Spring's audio cobwebs? Here's your opportunity.

Renown for a love of all things old The Loop Orchestra are utilising the second day of Spring as a musical renaissance for another orchestra of sorts - one centred on the venerable vibraphone, but with The Loop Orchestra's own special twist. For this performance appropriate visual accompaniment will be provided by Louise Curham's Super 8 filmic workings.

Hear the last shards of winter blown away to make way for new season sounds with the debut performance by Clean Air Campaign as these environmental extremists do things you never imagined possible to their glockenspiels, Casio keyboards, slide guitars and whatever else they may lay their hands upon.

Always challenging the boundaries, Ian Andrews will pull from his audio/visual cauldron new season video horror to delight the sensitive.

Get your sensory system prepared with an entrée of warming weather scents from burning beef dished out by xNOBBQx.

The evening will also be a showcase for the criminally neglected experimental filmworks by Bruce Licher from 1979 and 1980, along with static artworks from the Arizona based graphic artist.
