I found a lot of entries relating to this publisher, some of which need some attention. Hopefully you can help me to sort them out.
1. These seem valid and unique – it seems Careers was bought by BMG and later merged into Universal:
Universal Music-Careers
–––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
2. These appear to combine two or more publishers:
ADO Careers-BMG Music Pub., Inc
[Invalid Label])]
Sony/ATV Milene Careers
–––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
3. These contain typos and need to be invalidated:
Wolfsongs-Carrers
–––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
4. Lastly:
Careers BMG Music Publishing Co.

[Invalid Label])]
You missed one here.
As far as I can tell, the proposal looks OK. Teh typos are obvious.
Given there are some valid combinations, it would probably be a good idea to run the names from category 2 through Songview or worldradiohistory to see if they might not be valid after all. -

two or more publishers
Yeah, split. Except I don't think Number 23 is a publisher (misread perhaps).

Indeed.

I'm not going to voice an opinion on 1) as I'm usually diametrically opposed to Discogs' way of handling Publishers anyway.
2) A check of ASCAP and BMI showed that these indeed all all compound publishers.
Arista Careers Music: ASCAP = Arista Music Inc. and BMI = Careers Music Inc.
Gibb Brothers Music Careers: Full text of 1st release reads "Gibb Brothers Music Careers BMG Music Publishing (BMI)", which translates to BMI = Gibb Brothers Music and BMI = Careers BMG Music Publishing.
Bassdog Music-Careers: ASCAP = Bass Dog Music
Number 23 Songs Careers: ASCAP = Number 23 Songs Music
Sony/ATV Milene Careers: ASCAP = Milene Music Inc.

Release 1 = very likely. Release 2 = anything is possible, no idea.

+1 for splitting those where it’s feasible. The ADO and MCA names might be too ambiguous to split.

Marked the typo profiles as invalid and added redirects, cleared out Wolfsongs-Carrers and Careers Nusic, Inc. -

Careers-Bug Music Publishing Corp. is also either a typo (Bug for BMG) or a combination of Careers with Bug Music Publishing
Hard to know for sure.
I tend to believe it's BMG... but tried searching for clues, couldn't find anything.
If I can read it right, it's for 8 Miles and Runnin' by Jay-Z -> https://www.ascap.com/repertory#/ace/search/title/8%20Miles%20And%20Runnin'?at=true&searchFilter=SVW&page=1
No mention of Career or BMG or Bug (but I could be researching the wrong track, as it's very hard to read.)

Careers-BMG Music Pub.
Careers-BMG Music Publishing
These can be merged.
Luckily Careers-BMG Music Pub. just contains an orphaned release. -

Best part is, I had a typo in "obvious" too, doubted for a moment whether it was worth correcting, did so and still overlooked the other typo. -
