When is it acceptable to edit in order to move BAOI, LCCN or notes?

A few months ago I added the majority of information to this release:
https://www.discogs.sie.com/release/2207046-The-Womans-Boat/history#latest
As you can see a couple of days ago another added the 'Scanned' barcode which is useful as it differs from what appears on the release (the scanner does not pick up the zero). The information is valid but my issue is with how the decided to leave the 'Scanned' barcode right at the bottom. I've encountered this situation every so often and it makes me think that perhaps some s are unaware that there is a move function on the left hand side of the field, that their device is unable to make use of the move function or they aren't bothered about arrangement of information.
Wouldn't it make more sense to move it so it's positioned next to the other barcode information? It would be a lot more acceptable for my eyes but would it be acceptable according to the guidelines?
nik has always stated not to 'churn' data for personal preference so am I out of luck here? -

I don't know if it's allowed, but in such cases I would move the new barcode since it would indeed make more sense and be easier to find. -

Do any other s know if it is acceptable to edit just in order to rearrange the BAOI fields? The move function on the left hand side of the field is there to used afterall. Would such an edit be classed as a personal preference edit not improving the release and therefore be voted EI? -

might be. …

It's a common sense move that improves the display. Go for it. -

Thanks for the guideline https://www.discogs.sie.com/help/doc/submission-guidelines-general-rules#Conduct_Whilst_Using_The_Database
Thanks also for Disaster_Area for your input.
I still wonder if some s are unable to use the move function on certain browsers and devices. I've never actually tried to edit a release on a mobile device. -

I never did it on a mobile device either, but someone saying that he indeed couldn't move it because he was being on a mobile device.... -

I can attest to that... usually I'm on my PC but the odd time I've edited a release on my iPhone I haven't been able to move the BaOI entries. -

I do a lot of editing on my iPad and no, you can't move things. -

Thanks everyone for all the replies when I first started this thread.
As the consensus was that it's acceptable to perform common sense follow-up edits to rearrange a jumbled BAOI like in my example above (especially when on some browsers and devices the move function does not work) how about in the following case:
Would it be acceptable to change this:
Matrix / Runout (Variant 1): AFRCD 9 MPO 03 @@ 9 03
Matrix / Runout (Variant 2): AFRCD 9 MPO 03 @@ 9 01
Matrix / Runout (Variant 3): AFRCD 9 MPO 03 @@ 9 02
To this?:
Matrix / Runout (Variant 1): AFRCD 9 MPO 03 @@ 9 01
Matrix / Runout (Variant 2): AFRCD 9 MPO 03 @@ 9 02
Matrix / Runout (Variant 3): AFRCD 9 MPO 03 @@ 9 03
Would you vote such an edit Correct or would you vote such an edit EI? -

That is not allowed, as s might have saved which particular variant they own in collection notes. -

That would be EI. Variants stay as they are and must not be edited into any sort of numerical order. There is no importance attached to any particular variant number, much like the incremental numbers for artists/labels etc that share the same name.
Also, an edit such as that would risk errors being introduced as you could potentially mix up matrix and, say Master or Mould SID data. That is the main reason why moving data around is forbidden by the guidelines. -

In my opinion, an edit that has only unacceptable data in it, but which was still made in good faith (i.e. not vandalism and not part of a pattern of rampant abuse/defiance) should not get an EI vote. EI voting has dire consequences for some s, and RSG §20.2.6 seems to say that it's to be used sparingly; easily fixed edits should get NMaC instead. Personally I'd vote NMiC and/or just undo the edit and explain why. -

Confirmation. It is not possible to move anything on an ipad - which have stopped me editing/ adding variants. I only edit/ add when there is no BAOI at all.
And that's a shame.
