I cant see any possibility to correct an already existed artist's name. How to do it ?
It is Orkesteri not Oskesteri a4099829

You're talking about Various - Jääkärin Morsian, are you?

On the image of the back cover I can make out that A6 does say Orkesteri - so just correct it ... but it says something else for A8 - same as for tracks on the B side? If so it should be changed to that.

And just like any other here - change it yourself.

Their name can be changed to something else in this release but it means that their artist site still exists and i want to change that

stockholm808, the way Discogs works, artist names can only be edited as part of the releases themselves that credit them. Each time a release is added any artist names that are uniquely new automatically create new profiles. This is why we have to use the (X) numbering scheme to differentiate artists with the same name.

That means to fix this, the release itself has to be edited to address the typo. I went ahead and fixed it in VSMOL:n Oskesteri now no longer has any releases linked to it.

Hopefully it makes more sense now. It's a quirk of the database that artist profile names come entirely from the credits to them in individual releases.

stockholm808, once an artist profile exists in the database it can't really be removed. It can only be "de-linked", like in this case.
