CanZion Group and Grupo CanZion are labels in the database with same profile and image. One expressed the issue in history comments. What do you wish to do?

I found this one, which indicates separate companies, so I don't know much about these labels and whether a merge is right. What do others think?

I am not super well-versed on the guidelines for merging companies.
There are a ton of duplicates in the database.

Some other s may have better insight on this.

I will always +1 for consolidation of artists and companies if they're the same though.

I think it is a good idea to link them with the parent label, because CanZion it´s a big label

Hello everyone. First of all, regarding CanZion Producciones, it is a company started by Jonathan Mark Witt (Marcos Witt) in Mexico (Durango), and also has an office in Texas.

Over time, other offices/branches were opened in other Latin American countries, such as Argentina and Colombia (they all kept the same name "CanZion Producciones", with only the address varying, and these branches only took on the distribution work).

Regarding the labels, I understand that originally everything was "CanZion Producciones", but shortly after the turn of the century, there seems to have been a "rebrand" and the albums began to include only a generic label "CanZion", and much older material was also re-released with the label mentioning only "CanZion".

Note: Regarding "Grupo CanZion" as a label, I am not sure if it is another label of theirs, perhaps just the name of the Company itself (it is up to you to find the identification on the product itself).

Personally, I am in favor of keeping both, as this also reflects the period of the releases (especially for re-releases with only the CanZion label).

Another fact is that there is also a CanZion unit in Brazil (my country). Here it is known as CanZion Brasil and is clearly identified as such on the product.
