European Customs adding huge fees onto items imported

European Customs are adding 28 Euros to items below $150 and 50 Euros to items above $150.
this makes the cost very high for people in European countries to import items.
example $20 record is purchased from North America
customer pays $30-$40 shipping plus $10 VAT tax Plus $28 Euros surcharge to receive the package.

The solution has been there from the start - you need to supply Discogs's IOSS number with the customs data.

Exactly. You need to add the IOSS number digitally when processing the order, and a hard copy of the invoice attached to the package with the top right corner (which shows the IOSS number) visible is also advised.
