I’ve owned this for years and recently purchased the reissue. This pressing, mastered by Bernie and pressed at Pallas in , blows the recent reissue out of the water - no contest! I’ve never heard the MoFi pressing, but to me, this is the definitive pressing.
-
The definitive pressing on vinyl. i lucked up and found one when they were first released. I have several versions and didn't realize how good this one was until i read the reviews on discogs. I went back and listened to it and holy hell!!!!!

I own and have owned many versions of this album, americans, Pallas, German, 20th, 30th, Japanese... this edition, in my opinion, is the definitive one. It really has something more, dynamics, richness of timbre, depth and definition of the bottom end. The pallas is good, but for me is similar to the 30th remastered edition.

There is a later edition of this which used the same lacquers and can be had for under 30 bucks. Here it is:

Edited 2 years agomy original german pressing from 1991 completely trashes this pressing. Just sayin'.

This 2009 pressing kicks MASSIVE ass! Even though the pallas reissue uses the same stamper, this 2009 press is earlier and really loud! No sibilance during Drain You as well. Only gripe is the fact that RTI pressed it. I have bad luck with RTI, which includes this pressing.

SOUNDS INCREDIBLE!!!!! I was lucky enough to find a NM 2009 copy on eBay for $50 in August of 21!!!!! I know prices on vinyl have gotten a bit crazy lately, but don't lose hope! There will always be knuckleheads selling shit they know nothing about... gotta keep those eye's peeled!!

I bought "Nevermind" one week after its release via USA, so i could compare - using a serious audiophile cartridge - the real original 1st release with this ORG pressing. They are pretty similar but if i must say which one has a more natural, impressive sound, i'll say the ORG one.
-
I've never owned another pressing, but this one sounds spectacular. Incredible clarity and separation.
