GOLDEN WEEK: It's that time of year again: the most anticipated holiday season in Japan is upon now. Most businesses are closed here, until May 9. We will offer limited service during this national holiday. While we will have a limited staff count coming in during the holiday to prepare packages, please note - they will not be handed off/scanned, until after Golden Week, Monday, May 11. Of course, it will take us a few days to catch up, following the holiday. The trade-off, is that tracking is often NOT available until a week or so, after the package has been dispatched. Please also note, once a tracking code is provided - you may see the status "label created" for up to a week or so: this does not mean the package is not en route: the package is already on its way by this point, however, has yet to be scanned at the inward/outward courier point in Tokyo (we are located in southern Japan). In order to help us provide the most efficient and quick service to all, we kindly ask you not to request tracking as soon as your order is marked as shipped. We will provide delivery/tracking updates (if you opted for tracked services), as soon as they becomes available from our delivery partner (again - in some cases, this may require about a week or so after your ordered is processed and subsequently marked as shipped). We understand our shipping solutions may be a bit unusual, but - this is the small trade-off in order to provide you with the lowest possible shipping costs, direct service, all within very reasonable delivery estimates.

On that note: please heed very close attention to the DELIVERY ESTIMATE shown to you during the checkout process, next to the shipping service selection to avoid unrealistic delivery expectations. This is the easiest way to avoid unnecessary friction between buyers and sellers. 😌 If you select a shipping service at checkout that shows a delivery estimate of 15-20 business days, we respectfully ask to please not demand 'where's my package?!' after just 2 weeks (10 working days). The delivery estimates provided are tailored to the specific services offered to you at checkout and are based on the successful delivery countless orders to your region.
