Items are dispatched within 2 business days of receiving payment.

LPs are sent in standard LP shipping boxes, sometimes recycled, with padding (cardboard flats, sometimes bubble wrap). LPs worth more than $2 are usually in a poly sleeve, and to avoid edge splits, the outer jacket is separate from the record & inner sleeve. Unusually heavy orders may get extra corner reinforcements.

Small CD orders are sent in Uline CD mailers, with a small piece of bubble wrap inside the case if it's open. For any other odd-sized small packages, I fashion my own from recycled cardboard. (I'm not a fan of Uline's politics, but their CD mailers are really good for the price. Replacement suggestions welcome.)

My shipping charges are as follows. It's usually the actual cost of postage, rounded down, plus $2—e.g., $5.95 postage becomes $5+$2 = $7.00.

For shipments to USA, via USPS Media Mail (approx. 2–9 business days) or USPS Ground Advantage (approx. 2–5 bus. days):
• $6 for 1 CD or any number of cassettes or 45s
• $7 for 1 to 2 LPs, or 2 to 9 CDs
• $8 for 3 to 5 LPs
• $9 for 6 to 9 LPs
• $10 for 10 to 13 LPs
• $11 for 14 to 16 LPs
• Otherwise: $6 for the first 200 grams (slightly under Discogs' default weight of 1 LP), plus $1 per add'l 453 grams (1 lb.).

USA = all 50 states, military APO/FPO addresses, plus Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Micronesia, Guam, Marshall Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau.

I have never had a problem with Media Mail service, other than occasional slowness. Nevertheless, when placing your order, you can use the order comments to request USPS First Class Parcel (approx. 1–3 business days) instead, if you are willing to pay a little more. Either way, we get a tracking number.

For shipments outside the USA, via USPS First Class Package International (approx. 4 to 7 business days, 4 lb./$400 max.):
• 1–169 g (~0–5.9 oz) CA: $14. MX: $16. UK: $18. AU/NZ: $19. CN/HK/JP/KR: $19. Other: $18.

Tracking: All shipments within the US and many international shipments (i.e. to the "E-DelCon" countries) get a tracking / delivery confirmation number which I will provide to you so we can both follow the progress of delivery. Tracking is not available for other countries unless you use ed mail.

Registration: If you want registration (ed Mail Service), you have to ask for it before paying for your order. I will add it to your shipping cost. Registration is expensive ($19) and very slow. Although it provides a form of tracking, its actual purpose is to reduce the risk of loss or theft by ensuring an unbroken chain of custody in transit, with signature required at delivery. I don't recommend it unless you are in a region which has a high rate of mail theft (e.g., South America).

Insurance: You don't need to worry about it. Postal insurance allows me to recover the value of the contents if the package is lost or damaged in transit. For PayPal or credit card transactions, you are still protected, even without insurance. For shipments to USA, if the value of the merchandise is $70 or more, I will add insurance and pay for it myself. Insurance is not available on international shipping unless we use a very expensive 2-or-3-day service, which I normally don't do.

your shipping address: Please make sure your PayPal and Discogs shippings addresses match; I must ship to the PayPal address for us to both to be protected.

Minimum order:
$1.01 minimum order. (If you only want a $1 item, you need to add another. Take a chance on something new!).

Vinyl grading: Unless indicated, vinyl is usually not play-graded, but I will gladly play-grade or provide samples upon request.

CD sleeve grading: Unlike many sellers, I do include jewel cases in "sleeve" grades. VG+ is my standard sleeve grade for an undamaged, lightly used case with near-mint inserts. G+/VG is for minor damage/creases/bends on an insert, hub tooth damage, a small crack or heavy/dense scratches on the outer surfaces. Most of my cases are original, but I cannot guarantee that, so if you require the original case, please ask for photos before placing an order.

CD disc grading: Unless it is sealed, I test every CD to make sure it plays or rips without error. For the media, VG+ ranges from spotless to a few tiny, light scratches and minor nicks from normal use & cleaning (although I do try to err on the side of VG in that case); VG if there's a lot of scratches or any long/weirdly shaped ones; and G+ or lower for heavier marks that are obvious in any kind of light. Mint only means sealed and without shelf wear (like right out of the box from the factory) and NM means open/inspected but apparently unplayed and with no shelf wear.

Problems with your order? Returns are accepted, but first me ASAP via the order page so we are both protected; see the Discogs Sales & Transaction Policy under the heading "What To Do If There Is A Problem With Your Order" (i.e., allow me 4 days to respond before opening a PayPal dispute). It is also a requirement of Discogs that you a seller before leaving negative due to a problem with the order, otherwise the may be removed. (For what it's worth, this has never been an issue.)

Offers: Many of my items for sale have offers enabled, but I am not likely to accept offers asking for more than 20% off, or offers for recently listed items.

Consumer sales prioritized: If you order recently listed items and I suspect you are a broker, dropshipper or reseller, I may cancel the order.

Typical weights, for reference:
• CD in standard jewel case: ~100g
• CD in slim/J-card jewel case: ~75g
• LP: ~230g
• 10": ~170g
• 7" in paper sleeve: ~40g
• 7" In cardboard sleeve, or 7" picture disc: ~60g to ~85g
