PACKING: Everything I sell will be meticulously packaged in quality cardboard mailers, properly padded with attention to the unique fragility of the records and their sleeves. When appropriate, vinyl is packed in its own protective sleeve outside the main sleeve to protect the spine from impacts and the vinyl from abrasion during shipping. Equal care is given to CDs, cassettes, and other media. NOTE- this all comes at a significant cost to ME to assure YOU of receiving a perfect item. I often spend double or more in materials to protect your order than I actually charge for shipping!
INSURANCE: For any order—but especially high-priced orders—please consider discussing shipping options with me. I provide free basic USPS “Media Mail” shipping on orders over $200, but that does not include insurance. Anecdotally, as a seller I’ve never experienced any problems, but please understand that it’s literally and figuratively out of my hands once your order has been sent.
I’ll gladly adjust fees prior to shipping based on special arrangements, which may be due to misjudged item weights, requests such as extra insurance or expedited shipping, etc.
TIMING: I try to ship the same day or the next, but sometimes circumstances necessitate an extra day or two. My guarantee is that I will hustle on your behalf. I understand your anticipation!
