We use quality recycled corrugated cardboard that has been proven its excellent reliability over time. We make sure it is taped well to handle all sorts of travel. Note, we do not use cardboard record mailers due to the fact that there is little to no difference in the durability and protection of the packaging.
AS A BUYER, please provide special shipping instructions i.e. if you need us to remove and separate the vinyl from the sleeve prior to shipment.
If you need any additional services for shipment methods and packing instructions , we may apply additional charges.

HOW WE APPLY CONDITION RATING:
This has been a debatable area for items listed within the G (Good) to VG+ (Very Good Plus) range.
Please make sure to read Discogs' condition rating guidelines to get a better understanding of all the variables that are applied when considering your purchase. Some of our inventory items are over 30 years old and have had a dry, smoke-free, indoor shelf life. The record jackets are also prone to some mild chafing and subtle inventory shuffling, so please be mindful of the shelf wear that can be expected. Routine shelf wear is usually an accepted condition by most vinyl collectors, so we do our best to preserve its quality and condition, and we are happy to answer any questions or concern, PRIOR to purchase.
We also attribute the item's age when determining its condition. For example, a 40 year old vinyl rated as VG+ will appear to be slightly more degenerated that a 10 year old vinyl listed in the same condition.

There may be some of you that are expecting a 40 to 50 year old record to be in NM (near mint) or M (mint) condition, but I can assure you that under normal oxidation and indoor temperature gradients, it will be a highly unlikely circumstance to find a very old record (40 years +) to be in "perfect" or "near perfect" shape -as if it just came hot off the record press.
So, we recommend that you always take an item's age into consideration when purchasing, and please be wary of a "Mint" or "NM" condition rating as pertaining to its age.

We are not responsible for any manufacturing defect made by the record label or pressing plant. This applies to sound quality, embedded pops, background or surface noise made from the natural recording. Some record labels are reputable for the over usage of stampers during the pressing stage of production that results in a lower sound quality. Stampers are the impressioned metallic plates that the vinyl lacquer adheres to during the pressing stage. Unfortunately, this is an area devoid of any quality control on our part, but should be expected.
