Excellent album, no funk here, just killer hard rock with excellent heavy guitar sound. Actually, the guitar sound is so good, I'd say it's the best in its genre - no joke.

There's no syncope in rhythm or feeling on this album, therefore no Funk. They played Funk on albums in the past, but in the early 80s the band leaned towards more white music. The cover art makes it look like an Heavy Metal album and that is not accidentally.
