The label text alignment is different from other LA pressings, most notable "Produced in England by George Martin" is on two lines rather than one on both sides.
This release does have:
1. Inside front cover the words "No you're not!" (on track A6) written in script instead of plain font like The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour
2. "X" in both A and B label matrix unlike The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour
The Ƚ in matrix runout indicates that a T and L are superimposed on each other.
Capitol rainbow label with ''Mfd by Capitol Records Inc U.S.A.'' in the bottom rim.
Issued in a gatefold cover with a 24-page booklet stapled inside.

I really like the sound of this original mono pressing. Its the only other way to hear this album besides getting the 2014 mono reissue which sounds extremely better than this. Surely cheaper than the German Stereo press, which is good but still is a 60s stereo mix. Listen to this album in mono. -
MUCH better than the fake stereo version. Plus, you get the Single mixes of Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane. It also has the definitive I am the Walrus
