The originality of "Into The 4th Dimension" makes this record one of the best goa-trance tunes. -
I just can't say enough good things about this EP. I only wish Sheyba had more songs, I really dig the vibe. Slightly less spacey than Elysium and a bit more tribal I'd say. Aside from the great tunes themselves here, this really has to be one of the best mastered/pressed trance records I own. It sounds like everything is being played live in the room, and that wolf in Ancient Lands is right outside. Can't recommend it more highly! -
Edited 11 years agoKristian Thinning had a unique sound in the nineties and virtually singlehandedly launched the whole genre of tribal Goa chill. This is one of the all-time great, innovative and influential releases. The wolf howls on "Ancient Lands" will take you deep into the tribal past. ~*~
