Edited 9 years agoJust a quick mixing tip, and one of my favs.
Although it's an acappella, so while it can be put on many beats, this one works particularly well...
If you've got a copy of label Talkin' Inside The Beat" (TKDJ 71)? Then you're in for a treat.
Drop the "Mess-Apella" acappella from this release over the top of track Pathless)" at 3:13.
Hand in glove, that's all I'm saying. ;-)
(P.S. Another 'borrower' of said acappella is on this 12", which is nice too: Messages (Total Science Remix)"; though I'm sure most people know about it already.)

Such a great great great track, and so unique. not tired of it since i first hard it on Giles P's "Incredible" comp.
Sort of an electro/afrobeat record.....Made by a minimal/house producer....With soul/psychedelic lyrics..And a dub bassline.

A paliative piece that reaches out to the woeful human condition. Or to put it another way, the kind of track that forces you to go on when times are hard and makes you seek out a reason to go on. Something to strenghten the soul - this is supernatural jazz, a true gem in any record collection!
