One of De Burgh's most solid effort's period. The production and Rupert's keyboard work are of high caliber and full of tasteful timbres. This is very far beyond the early folksy style of music De Burgh wrote in the 70's instead you get a very 80's modern recording with the usual De Burgh story laden songs most of which revolve around revolution and freedom. One thing is for sure Chris is quite a storyteller and he is well versed in history and folktale alike. Listening to his pre-lady in red music theres no wonder how he later masterfully created a handful of hits! After-all he is quite a brilliant musician and takes the time to write great lyrics that actually engage listeners neural pathways.
