Notes
This release is packaged in a double jewel case with opaque black disc trays and fliptray. It is identical to that version, except that it has a catalog number printed on the last page of the booklet and the colors used in the booklet are richer. Discs are also manufactured by a different company (DADC Austria instead of Sonopress for the other version). It is unknown whether both differences are related, i.e. whether there exist copies without catalog number on booklet back with discs manufactured by DADC Austria and/or copies with catalog number on booklet back with discs manufactured by Sonopress.
Some early pressings of both versions have a sticker on the front of the case containing the text "Thunderdome - The Original!".
Release title is listed as "Thunderdome IV" on front cover, booklet front and discs and as "Thunderdome 4" on spines and inside the booklet. Catalog number is listed as "9902176" on back cover and discs and as "99 021 76" on spines and booklet back.
Track 1-5, 1-6, 1-13 & 1-16 are marked as "Bonustraxx" on back cover and "Bonus Traxx" inside the booklet because they are missing from the Part 1 cassette which contains all other tracks from disc 1.
On tracks 1-1, 1-3, 1-6 & 1-13, the name or sequence number of the release from which the track is taken is included as part of the artist name (respectively Amiga E.P., E.P., Heaven & Hell E.P. & III).
In the case of track 1-2, the artist name is including the sequence number of the release on which the original version of the track was released (II).
Title of track 1-3 is incompletely listed as "Rotterdam Mix".
Artist of track 1-5 is misspelled as "Car & Drive" on back cover but correctly spelled inside the booklet. The title of this track is erroneously listed as "Help (Ware House E.P.2)". "Help " is another track from the same release, which is actually named Clubcraft E.P. "Ware House E.P.2" is likely a reference to Ware House E.P., which catalog number is "FORCE INC. UK#2" and which contains a remix of "Help ".
Track 1-8 is incompletely listed as "Weekend".
Track 1-9 is listed as "Eyloco Remix" by "DE 2017 SGE". DE 2017 is the catalog number of the release from which the track is taken, "SGE" is the main part of the track title rather than part of the artist name, and "Eyloco Remix" is the title of the following track on that source release.
Tracks 1-11 and 1-15 were taken from the release Live At The Sex Shop where they were untitled.
Tracks 1-12 & 1-17 are respectively the untitled A1 and B1 tracks from the release Red Poison; they were later given titles when they were re-released on 5 Years On Speed (respectively "T.S. Dick" and "Banging").
Track 1-16 is erroneously listed as Fucking Hostile on back cover but is correctly listed inside the booklet. Writing is credited to "Lenny Dee & Matthewman", but the track was actually only written by Lenny Dee.
Track 1-19 was released the following year as the RTS (Industrial Strength Sampler III, Maurice Steenbergen being one of the two of Rotterdam Termination Source.
Booklet notes: "Thunderdome 4 has been compiled in association with: Bonzai Records, Brainstorm, D.M.S., Edge Records, Force Inc, Hellrazor Rec, H2O Recordings, Industrial Strenght [sic], Le Petit Prince Records, Low Spirit, Mainframe Rec, Master Maximum Records, Nanada Music, Pedo Beat Records, CD 2 licensed from ID & T Records."

Reviews

Only the first disc from this compilation is worth to listen at whereas the second disc only offers us B-side tracks only the track Dano : Welcome to the Thunderdome is excellent the rest is boring and even early Trance, Euro-Dance .
The CD 1 offers early speedcore/breakcore/bunkercore found later on another compilation by the name from Terrordrome 5-10 the German guys from Nordcore G.M.B.H. & family .
The best tracks from CD 1 are ;
1. Hardsequencer Amiga : Noise is the Message
2. Car&Drive : iv
3. RMB : The Place to Be
4. Sorcerer : Summer
5. Casseopaya : 10 Seconds to Terminate Live
6. E-De-Cologne : Zimboculture
7. Speedfreak : Red Poison Part1
8. Yves de Ruyter III : Rave City
9. DJ Bountyhunter : Demilitarized Zone
10. E-De-Cologne : Ein Bieschen Frienden
11. Lenny Dee vs. Dj Edge : Alpha 1
