Edited 6 months agoAlbum Revolution #2:
After BLASTING through the DOOR with "Too Hot To Handle", "Heatwave" ("Keith Wilder", "Johnnie Wilder Jr.", "Rod Temperton", "Roy Carter", "Mario Mantese", "Ernest "Bilbo" Berger" and "Eric Johns"), after getting their bearings from the MASSIVE success they were having, got back with "Producer, "Barry Blue", and Released the next offering in "Central Heating"....
Again, understanding that Overseas, the album was Released on "GTO Records", we in the States know the albums to be Released on "Epic Records"...So forgive me, but that is how I am ing this ULTIMATE CROWN JEWEL album....
Again, with "Rod Temperton" with the Writers Pen, the album starts with the EXPLOSIVE "Put The Word Out"....With the Muted Vocals, but HEAVY Drum start, this Keyboard LAID Groove, again PROVES that "Heatwave" could deliver a RIGHTEOUS Groove...Get on the Floor and Groove to this one Guys!!!!! I DARE you NOT to!!!!!
Again leading with the Keyboards, "Send Out For Sunshine", is another RIGHTEOUS Groove by the Band!!!! This one is REALLY SPECIAL to ME!!!! There is no PROFOUND REASON, it just brings about my "Isaac D. Body Sways"!!!! ESPECIALLY the ending, when the song goes HIGHER while "Johnnie" takes you there, with GREAT "Keith" !!!! This sends SHIVERS DOWN MY SPINE!!!!!
The "Title Track" has a kinda KOOKY feeling, ALMOST like being at the Circus....But once the song is settled down into the Groove, you can't help but to Bob your head!!!! The ending is INTERESTING, going back into that KOOKY Mood, but for SOME REASON, you can't help but to SING ALONG!!!!!
The "Johnnie Wilder" Penned, "Happiness Togetherness", brings us back to the fact that "Heatwave" is not just TERRIFIC with the Grooves, but EXCELLENT with the Mellow Slow Jams..."Johnnie" just KNOWS that he HAS IT with these types of Songs (and WE KNEW IT TOO!!!!)....It also goes into a Swing Time Mood with a FANTASTIC Trombone Solo by "Chris Pyne"...
The 2nd side starts with "Heatwaves" other ULTIMATE HIT, the FANTASTIC "The Groove Line"...This time "Eric Johns" Guitar HELPS in being the FOUNDATION with the Keyboards..."Keith" (as usual) KILLS this Dance t by the Band, with "Johnnie" ING him PERFECTLY!!!! The one thing that KILLS ME, is that the OUTSTANDING 7 minute version SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON HERE!!!!!!
Now..."Mind Blowing Decisions"....
SUPER DOOPER BOMB!!!!!
Another "Johnnie" Penned Mellow Groove, this PERFECT song was JUST IT!!!! "Johnnie", again KILLS IT Vocally, surrounded by that PERFECT "Heatwave Groove"....EVERYTIME this comes on in the Car, whether I am by Myself or with my Family, IT IS ALL OVER!!!! THE CAR IS ROCKIN"!!!!!!!
"The Star Of A Story" was a VERY INTERESTING Song!!!! It was unlike anything that the Band has done....It has a VERY Exotic Haunting Melody...It also had the "Wilder" Brothers singing well together, complementing each other, while "Eric" STEALS the SHOW with his Acoustic Guitar Vibes.....
"Party Poops" brings us back to the Dancefloor...It's not the most powerful t of the album, but it will STILL make you GET DOWN!!!!
"Leavin' For A Dream" ends the album the way it is SUPPOSED to!!!!! "Johnnie" again, delivers in a way of imitation, surrounded by another OUTERWORLDLY Melody, ESPECIALLY with the FANTASTIC Strings!!!!
Well, 2 GREAT albums in a ROW!!!
Again, "Heatwave" was BLASTED EVERYWHERE!!!!! I could not go on a corner in "Cleveland, OH" and NOT HEAR this MASTERFUL album!!!! That was TRULY a PURE TESTAMENT to how TERRIFIC "Heatwave" was!!!!! With that, the PRESSURE to keep it going was about to SURROUND the Band!!!!!
Even if that was the case though, "Central Heating", did nothing but PROVE that "Heatwave" HAD IT!!!!!!
