Notes
This is an unofficial release that was first seen for sale online in 2015. Differences between this pressing and the original 1998 release are:
Jacket has muted/less vibrant colors, and close examination shows the individual ink "dots" from the printing process.
Front logo and artwork isn't as clean and sharp, and rear Nuclear Blast information is fuzzy and difficult to read.
Comparing the labels shows:
Both labels have rough spots along the edges from a dull die cut.
B side label has two pressing rings, with the first starting at 5/8" and the second at 1 3/8". The original B side label does not have a second pressing ring.
The bottom of "A" in "A Moment of Clarity" is cut off from being too close to the edge; the original doesn't do this.
The printing on the labels shows a texture with white spots amongst the color field, the original label doesn't have this texturing.
The label colors appear brown when compared next to the original label.
Does not come with a printed insert. Matrices on both sides are etched. Single disc weighs 148 grams. Spine has band, title, and catalog number printed along it.

If you can't afford the original vinyl and don't want the double disc, double flip, Relapse reissue, then this bootleg is for you. The sound is fantastic!

Could you please give me the information of 1998 black vinyl version matrix/runout codes ? I've got the one stated as NB 3371-A SST / NB 3371-B SST. Did I found just a copy of this 2015 bootleg ? Is original version's a-side matrix code really NB 363-1 A SST ? TX.

As an owner of the original 1st press 1998 official LPs, I decided to buy one of these bootlegs that are appearing regularly on ebay nowadays for under $35 as a play copy (as my original is a bit scratched up on one side). In comparing the two, it's obvious that they are different, the audio in my opinion sounds like possibly the bootlegger used some mediocre digital copy of the songs to make the vinyl, it's a bit high/bright (too much treble), isn't warm and full sounding like the original. It's ok for just a play copy you don't care about or if you can't afford one of the official versions (all which usually sell for $120+ on ebay), but if you are familiar with the official LP's sound or own it, you will be highly disappointed with this bootleg, especially if you don't have a record player hooked up to a mixer with audio and EQ controls to compensate for the bootleg's bad mix.
