I got nothing against the sound and style they went for on this record, but the lyrics are really atrocious i just cant get my self to enjoy it.

This album sees Darkthrone continuing the transistion from their older material to their more current Crust- and Punk- inspired black metal. Songs with blastbeats are a lot less common on this album, but it still has the harsh edge that gives it an eerie, "true black" feel to it.
