Grant Nelson aka Vincent Palacino ; hard diversion is sampling the vocal harmony from helen bruner "over you" (1990) https://www.discogs.sie.com/Various-Reactivate-8-Hi-Octane-Dance-Musik/master/67778 )

Canned by the likes of Terry Mullan, Scott Henry, Feelgood etc, the Hard Diversion Mix is one of the most devastating songs you could ever lay down on the east or west coast of the US, even today. One of those tracks that stand the test of time and still command peak time on the dance floors. Not a very easy record to find either. Be sure to hold onto your copy if you still have it!

Vincent Palacino is a name I've never seen anywhere aside from his killer techno remix of "Hard Diversion." This record was huge in its time, especially on the west coast with all of the big San Francisco and LA jocks both in the clubs and at the raves. The rest of the EP is rather forgettable, but this tough, pumping remix with its big horn section and ruthless drum programming still sounds great 15 years later.
