Edited one year agoReferencing ABBA - The Album
This "Nice Price" CBS/Epic pressing appeared in the UK in the early 1980s. The whole package is gorgeous, with the full gatefold sleeve as per the first issue - however, the sound seems quite 'flat' to me. ittedly I've only got CD remasters to compare against, so maybe this is how Benny & Bjorn intended it to sound on vinyl... but it seems to have a bunch of treble and mid-range missing, or lower in the mix. I'd love to know how the UK first issue on Epic sounded.
