Edited 2 months agoBought 2 of these when they were released , my wife once looked at a cat direct in its face , she can now summon the cat with only the power of thought , which is unfortunate as she is allergic to the daft little cunt. -
Question: When this says "packaged with the CD version," how does that come? Is the disc in the card sleeve as part of the set? Or is it just the UK/US standard CD copy of the album included as well?
I ask because several sellers say they have lost the CD part - so, could I recreate the set exactly by just buying the standard CD as a replacement? Or was the CD version unique to this release somehow? -
Got this by pre-order when originally released. Was just perusing the Phonica website and saw there's a remastered re-press, which made me wonder why remastering was necessary - my copy sounds excellent. Looking at other reviews I guess some weren't so good.

Missed a trick by not including the extended version of Sleep Sound on the physical copies but an amazing album nonetheless -
my 2 cents: my copy sounds fantastic! one of the louder (and bigger bass) albums in my collection. i bought it the day it came out, perhaps the repress with new lacquers some mentioned was the issue? I don't know - but definitely suggest this one! a real mind blower -
I knew I was taking a gamble ordering this given the mixed reviews but I have to say that my copy sounds great after deep cleaning with my Spin Clean washer system. The bass is very good. There are some pops here and there but overall it sounds alot better than the single lp release I have. I can't recommend this release enough and I'm sorry for all the people who got dud copies. -
I'd love to know what the deal is with all the copies that were duds. My copy sounds fantastic. And loud! This is one of the louder records in my collection. -
Although I knew this pressing was a bit of a gamble, I got a perfect copy without any of the before mentioned background noise. The inner sleeves it comes with are really bad, though the colours are amazing on the individual LPs, even though my yellow one is a little more on the green side. I absolutely love this edition of the album, and if you are down for the gamble, get it. -

Got a brand new copy of this today. I only had static on the first record of the LP. It's due to the cheap, colored sleeves they used.
