Purchased to compare to ‘95 UK pressing. For starters there is about +10 db difference on this version but a great balance of sound. The separation with instrumentation and vocals creates an experience not heard before. “Those dreaming eyes of mine” is a great example. Never a big fan of reissues & remasters but I’m pleased with the “Respect the Classic” 2015 pressing, full stereo sound as the ‘95 gives off a more mono presence. -
This record sounds excellent. Quality pressing all around, although both records are slightly warped but it does not affect play. -
Not Deadsilent, but there is only little noise.
Great SQ, but not outstanding.
I can't understand why price skyrocketed. -
Just like the 2015 Voodoo reissue, this one is top notch. Excellent mastering and pressing all around. I’m thankful that so much care was put into these fantastic albums and I recommend picking them up before they become rare and expensive. -

I have the same odd issue of having the first five tracks on Side A. My copy sounds totally fine. Grateful that I didn't have the same noise issue, but sorry to hear other folks had to deal with that. -
My copy of this sounds great. A little popping here and there but quite slight. Great record. -
I just picked this up recently hoping the issues stated by other commenters were resolved. Nope. 1st side has 5 tracks instead of 3 per the label and hiss all over. This is the first and last "Respect The Classics" re-issue I'll be buying.

My pressing has the first five tracks on Side A. Like, they're not omitted from Side B or anything, Side A is just 5 tracks long instead of 3 tracks. Not complaining, it's cool. Just... odd. -
Anyone had problems with excessive surface noise on this pressing? All four sides have a very noticeable sheen of hiss - evident even in the louder parts of the music. I'll be returning this to Amazon to get a new copy... just hoping this is a bad pressing I have and not indicative of the entire run.
