My first Monolake purchase. Each remix is very distinct, aiming for a specific atmosphere. While Live in Osaka focuses more on the rhythm and beat, the Rebreather Mix is like floating above storm clouds; the air is so crisp and cool you can see your breathe. The Sleeparchive Remix aims for a dance club drowning in xanax. Plumbicon Epilogue over time has become my favorite of all the mixes. It takes its time, like a thunder storm rolling over the desert. Distant crackles and tiny details give way to its overpowering gloom. Overall a very lush, if not a bit cold collection of remixes.
