After epic thrash album Rust in peace, Megadeth went more heavy oriented, would not say commercial.Countdown to extinction is a great album with strong,developed songs from beginning to the end.Lots of singles had a heavy rotation on tv and with Metallica they were on top of heavy metal world.
Symphony of destruction,Ashes in your mouth and Countdown to extinction are my favorite songs on album but the rest of the album does not fall behind.
Highly recommended.
