I love this pressing and master. It's obvious that Nick Cave and his team make interesting artistic choices all through the process from the source to the final product. Parts of this record are almost cacophonous, but it's obviously intended to be. It's not an accessible, warm sound at all, but it captures the meanness and angst that the songs want to convey perfectly. And then parts of it are warm, with good dynamics and separation, showing you that the sound architects behind it do know how to do that when they want to. Great record, great pressing, great master.

Pressing sounds really good but there is something I noticed on the lyrics sheet that bugged me. On the track Red Right Hand the lyrics on the sheet are printed as "You ain't got no self-respect, you feel like an insect" when the actual lyric is "You don't have no self-respect, you feel like an insect". I have no idea if it is exclusive to this pressing or not but still, it's something I noticed.
