I have both MoV and SVLP releases. Both are equally good. I can't tell a difference. I briefly thought the SVLP had better bass, but honestly, up loud they both sound full and rich and very nice. Neither pressing is a dud and neither pressing is obviously better than the other in any way. In both cases my vinyl is dead silent and the music rings out beautifully. Great album too.

I like Tindersticks very much. But however I tried I couldn't enjoy Simple Pleasure. So now I'm afraid to listen to their recent albums. I'm afraid to be disappointed once again. The only song that reminds me of old glorious days is "Before You Close Your Eyes": "There's no goodbye - these hands have always lived through mine, now everything I touch I feel I don't know how, before you close your eyes I don't know how". I hope there's no goodbye too.
