Edited 6 months ago"Ride" is very reminiscent of the chorus from 1997's "Let's Go Round Again" by Louise, in of the melody. At least to my ears. Almost like the "Clinton Cards Remix" (for people in the UK). Anyone else? -
Ya know, I think this might actually be my favorite album of all time. I’ve had it for 8 years and I’m still unable to go more than a week or so without listening to it.

Edited 5 years agoAfter reading a few negative comments about both pressings, I decided to pick up the 2016 repress anyway (the back cover differs slightly with an extra date added in bottom right corner). My copy sounds great with any slight noise/pop/crackle from the pressing being mostly unobtrusive. Red Light is perhaps the only track where it draws my attention a little as the track itself is very sparse so any defects are very clear. I am only posting this to let others know that the whole repress is not poor quality. You can certainly enjoy this beautiful music on vinyl!

Sitting outside my back door, glasgow, grey sky overhead, nature blowing through the trees at the top of the garden, my wife combing my daughters hair, I can hear them talking mother daughter stuff, this music playing over all that, focussing on these little swatches of life being added to my memory quilt helped along by this beautiful piece of music.........
