Notes
Reissue release with gatefold sleeve in stickered polybag, pressed on opaque or translucent pale or vivid purple 180-gram 'Pure Virgin Vinyl' (as opposed to the 2010 'Audio Fidelity' reissue 'Hounds Of Love' which was pressed on opaque pink/grey marbled vinyl).
- Gatefold cover artwork from 2010 reissue retained.
- Record itself housed in a clear polythene sleeve (unlike the 2010 reissue which utilised a thick pink-tinted plastic inner sleeve).
- As with the 2010 reissue, packaged in a clear plastic outer bag bearing a gold oval sticker.
- Unlike the 2010 issue, this edition is not numbered.
- "Cloudbusting" is still incorrectly printed as "Cloud busting" on the record label, as per the 2010 issue.
- "Noble And Brite" is still misspelled "Noble and Bright" on the cover and labels.

Maybe the mastering is good. haven't heard other editions. But this one has a lot of crackles all over both sides. Quite annoying. CD version might be the solution.

You can easily find this for $30 online, stop paying these bottom-feeding, redheaded bullies from A Christmas Story, who probably watch reruns of The View while they pack your record up poorly prices. Ridiculous, and flippers, have fun paying federal taxes.

Makes me wonder how much the price of this album has skyrocketed in the last month or so. Come on kids, just use Spotify...

Edited 4 years agoAfter reading several post about the two versions fro Audio Fidelity, i found out that the 2014 issue is way better in the Audio field, as the 2010 version has some issue with surface noise and other nasty stuff. Can anyone confirm that? My 2014 issue is the best one iv'e hear, of the many versions i own. Both CD version (original, remaster, deluxe and more), and several vinyl re-issues. This 2014 ed. is a killer issue. Dynamics, deeper into the groove, which i noticed when i suddenly heard things in the mix iv'e never noticed before? So if you wanna the best possible version out there, i guess it's this one!

I just received my copy from Soundstage Direct--opaque purple marlbled and not numbered. Aside from some random, sporadic vinyl surface noise this copy does NOT suffer from the noise present on the earlier pressing. Sonically this sounds amazing. Kevin Gray and Steve Hoffman did a great job with this amazing album.
