A landmark release from the French touch era. Seriously what the hell were these guys smoking back then?

This feels like an evolution of the themes in Picnic Attack to dubby, deeper, slowly laid out waters.

Back when everyone was imitating Thomas Bangalter to death, I:Cube always went against the norm and this was no exception. An essential listen, one that will open your ears and mind to different sounds.

I know a little bit from I:CUBE and would love to go deeper. This release feels precious and just right for an experimental downtempo journey. How is there no vinyl release?

For twenty-five years I:Cube's most prestigious studio recording of their lives has been catalogued as one of its biggest creations during the late 90’s electronic music territory. It varies lot of deep, hypnotic and minimalistic house mixes (Deep Republic, Cash Conv, Dans La Piece Vide), got it flow with tasting breaks (Gastro Funk) and my favorite melodramatic downtempo lounge score of Adore.

This French visionary disc jockey he gave everything to make an achievement to the piece of music over the quarter an half century like did his powerful message to bringing the rhythm and relaxing which took the audience loved this beautiful acclaimed second album. If I those moments when having a fight to escape our eternal loneliness, this recording changed my perspective to move upon the horizons, no matter how if I’d trying to resolve those moments who was been grateful for your creations and bringing a perfect way to connect in the dance floor and for specific moments that changed the music before the millennium nearly come closer to make a new panorama of his biggest contributions for the future.

The next 25 years will be a rhythmical masterpiece of our lifetimes.
Favorite tracks: Adore, Cash Conv., Deep Republic, Tropiq and Gastro Funk.

This is nice, first album I discovered from this artist. God! I'm late! 1999? Sounds so current. I believe this album isn't for everyone, if you listen on the sequence, carefully, you can hear so many interesting sounds and experiments. Totally love it. Can't choose just one favorite, from Tropiq (ooh those chilled voices and vibes) to Mighty Cube. Superb sounds.

ADORE picks up where I:Cube's previous album, PICNIC ATTACK, left off, but goes deeper. Gone are the disco trappings; instead, they've been replaced with warmer synths and more attention to texture. The title track is an almost beatless ambient journey with a tropical feel to it. "La La La" is funk at its catchiest, while "Le Dub" slows things down to a shuffle. "Tropiq" is like a minimalistic samba. All the house on this album is mostly of the deep kind: "Cash Conv.," "Deep Republic," and "Dans La Piece Vide" throb and pulse with the best of their kind, retaining some feeling. "Basic Bastard" aims more at the dancefloor, but in its own unique fashion. "Pooh Pah" is the standout track, however; it's immediately grabing, with the synths making a fascinating rhythmic counterpoint to the beat. The cut-up vocals help bolster the track's catchiness. A maturation in sound, and an album that lives up to the promise of the first.
