Edited 2 months agouno dei migliori album dei Coldplay. Dopo la trilogia di debutto composta da Parachutes, Rush Of Blood e X&Y la band inglese si ritrova a dover rivoluzionare il proprio sound, ormai non erano più una semplice band emergente che proponeva un buon pop rock: adesso le canzoni dovevano essere pensate per essere dei veri canti da stadio in vista del tour che avrebbero cominciato da lì a poco.
Tolta la traccia che dà il titolo a metà album, Viva La Vida, che ormai conoscono pure i sassi, questo album è una fusione di moltissimi generi che funzionano molto molto bene tra di loro, un lavoro quasi psichedelico!
Le mie preferite sono 42, Lovers In Japan, Yes, Violet Hill e Death And All His Friends.
Un disco da recuperare assolutamente!
