Edited 7 months agoThe last track can pretty much fit into anything Twin Peaks. It could easily fit comfortably into the sounds of that show. It is on a deep wavelength all of its own. Funny I randomly stumbled upon this track and it's my favorite show. You can easily just picture yourself in the red room while listening to this album.

Sawako's HUM starts with the delicate confection of "Pink Liquid Cotton Candy," but the other tracks hang in the air like dust motes. The long abstraction of "Rush," for instance, is like standing alone on an ice floe, while "Incense Of Voice" brings in a few fleeting moments of vocal textures. But it's the harmonics on "White Sky Winter Chicada" the speak the loudest and the most beautifully, as does the long, sustained guitar tones on "Cloud No Crowd." A blissful experience.
