With it's relentless busy-but-no-amen beats Set Speed is a dream to mix and a proper 95 classic. Can be had cheap too, bonus.

If there was a top 100 for true pioneering Drum & Bass tracks to emerge from the 90's Set Speed would probably be in the top 10. One of the first tunes (if not THE first tune) to drop the chopped amen beats and start to edge toward the two step style that we know today. Strangely however, even though this track became phenomenally successful, it never went over the point of no return of being caned to death and cheesy-fied like other iconic tracks such as The Valley Of shadows and DJSS Lighter. Still a proper respected classic, still an underground tune, and very much a survivor of its time at the top. Still rocks today. I suspect the vocal is a sample of MC Navigator

Randall used to mix this tune flawlessly into Adam F - Circles. Awesome. Krust has never produced a bad tune. Very fine work from the Bristol genius.
