Edited 17 years agoThe "Ohladida" phrase from the lyrics of "Ladies & Gentlemen" was used by Azad in his first diss track against Samy Deluxe ("Gegen Den Strom", 2001). The single, which, in Azad's sense, was a rather commercial oriented one, started (unintentionally) a little battle between the two rappers, evoking Deluxe' answer "Rache Ist Süß" (2001) and the following "Samy De Bitch (7 Lektionen)" (2001). Nowadays the rappers respect each other. On his album "Faust Des Nordwestens" (2003) Azad stated explicitly, that he is not interested anymore in dissing Samy: "Und ich will auch Samy nicht mehr dissen, denn er macht sein Ding, und es macht keinen Sinn, es nur zu tun, um euch Zufriedenheit zu bringen." Samy for himself collaborated with Kool Savas ("OK", 2004), who was still a homie of Azad in those days.
