Edited 10 months agoI also own the first mono pressing of this recording in NM condition and in direct comparison this AP reissue sounds MUCH better! Much more dynamic, much more presence of the instruments, much more clarity, a room filling sound! Coltrane's sax is a direct hit in your face!
Sounds like a curtain has been opened.
Imo this is the best version of this legendary record you can get! I love it!

This is one of the best records in my collection. This is jazz ! Great pressing, sounds fabulous, excellent sleeve. Apparently will be repressed soon by AP so grab with both hands before it's OOP again.

This sounds quite good as you would expect, but Im experiencing some channel dropout, specifically on I Could Write A Book. I dont know what is causing the issue, but Im assuming something is wrong with the tape. Ive heard digital versions without issues anyway so maybe there is an AAA version without it as well, Id like to know.
