What happens when you put Alan Vega in the recording studio with Ric Ocasek from The Cars but this time on a mission to make a mainstream pop sounding album while leaving the door open for Ministry stop by occasionally? Saturn Strip. Would have loved to been a fly on the wall in the studio for this one. The follow up album Just A Million Dreams is the next step further into the realm of 80's radio pop with songs like "Shooting For You" which can only be described as a song you'd hear on the soundtrack for a movie like Top Gun or Rocky IV. This album isn't as far down that rabbit hole of 80's pop and I think that's what makes it great. It's still weird.

If this incredible amalgam of Vega's Elvis-ish crooning with 80s synth-pop ever gets re-issued / re-mastered on CD format, please let me know - this deserves a re-issue.
