I found a NM copy at a local record fair and am just comparing it to a digital source. Robert's voice is much more present in front and the overall experience is more spacious and dynamic on the LP (as it should!), while the digital mix at times feels slightly tighter in the bass and drums, which might be the pros of a more compressed sound. Also I got close to zero surface noise and no pops or clicks. Really happy with this pressing! Arguably my favorite album from the cure, a true meisterwerk from a band (and RS) at their very best.

I bought mine as an import in the US back in the day. I had already purchased the cd as it was the format most easily found in record shops (the LP was nigh impossible). The CD has more tunes but the overall sound is not better than the vinyl imo. If anything the audio quality of the LP is superior, but it would have benefitted from a 2LP pressing - like they did with ‘Kiss’.

I have a virtually unplayed copy of this that has been ultrasonically cleaned and there is still a fair bit of surface noise. The mastering on here is good, but the quality of the vinyl is okay. It is a little too loud and quite thin. The album itself is absolutely phenomenal!
