John Golden cut this originally along with hundreds of records in the dead era of vinyl, including almost all the Sub-pop stuff from the mid 2000s. His work has always been excellent and this is no different.
I also have the 2011 press which was mastered from the original DAT tape but this press is slightly better. The album was mixed by Jerry Finn (the master of mixing punk power trios) so it's meant to be played loud and this press is perfect for that. Highly recommend this OG! -
In comparison with a recent reissue like From Here To Infirmary this buries it. This one has the highs and clarity you are wishing for. Great pressing, cut at a good volume.
