Edited 4 months agoOne of the best bargains you can find. This uses the original metal work from the 1969 US Terra haute pressing mastered by Leo Hulko (LH). It’s the same as a US 1st press. Vinyl is dead silent and it sounds insanely good!!! If you find this for a good price, congratulate yourself and then get ready for a real treat.

Edited 6 months agoAll the buyers of the new Rhino High Fidelity The Stooges s/t are raving about how great it sounds. They're not wrong, but I'm not sure how many versions they've listened to. I doubt many have compared it to this one. I think this version is just a bit better. Highly recommended!

I have the Sundazed pressing, the 2010 Rhino, and this pressing. The Sundazed was the first pressing of this album I ever bought and I was very happy with it, though the 2010 bests it by a bit. However this pressing is on a whole other level compared to the others. This really rocks. It sounds raw, almost visceral. It's very fun to listen to and I can't recommend it enough.
