I'd never heard of this band until today when i heard triumph of death on a Dr. Demento radio show 2xLp set, 87-49 he plays it during a segment he calls the Sound Torture Chamber or something like that, I think it was a submission from a lister, lol.

Why in the actual fuck is this blacklisted? Seriously, there's nothing sketchy about this release whatsoever. Unless it happens to be a bootleg but even then, it's not listed as one here.

Anyone know where the black and white cover-image of the man hanging from a tree comes from? I have a shirt with the exact same picture on it, but it says Tombstone underneath.

Alright; so I get a few questions about this regularly....well, in general about bootlegs. So I will describe this release, which in turn describes all of the Hellhammer demos. The original copies are not blank tapes. I'll just say that. (I won't describe, in detail, what is on the tapes due to people who would bootleg it). Also, the jcards do not have a backside to them. They are all pressed on one side. Multi types of things ya know? I.e., all the images you see above are all on the same side of the jcard, the back side is blank. There weren't many of these made, and they were not just dubbed onto regular tapes; these were made with care. Take that into mind before you go buy one of these; as most of them are fake.
