Direct comparison to CK 40580, SI 30266 (Blu-spec) and 88883731532 (K2HD): I found this to be the preferred version (Red Book), based on overall tonality.
There were no overcompression issues with any of those versions, though the K2HD is the least dynamic by 1dB.
