1980 - Mighty Dread at the controller! Killer album from Michael Prophet produced by Henry 'Junjo' Lawes at Channel One. Roots Radics in full effect. Includes 'You Are A No Good ' - a moody, minor-key monster. I came to this album after hearing Scientist’s dub readings of the material. Engineered to perfection at Maxfield Avenue by the mighty Barnabas. The space here is amazing - everything has room and commands presence, totally. Got to mention the cover - a gorgeous pencil and watercolour rendering of a fallen city with a Rastafarian family making there way through the wasteland, complete with child shepherding a goat - sick!
