Great repress sounds good considering the source material is already a bit beat up from the jump. goes off anywhere anytime

Edited 2 years agoSince it was asked, but answered by people in a way I really can't understand: The sound quality is way from being decent. Aside from being one of the worst pressings I held in my hands over the last years, with obvious pressing defects like bubbles, not to mention the audible scratches and scuffs from bad handling at the plant, the sound is rather muddy and muffled and accompanied by constant background noise. Literally the worst record I bought in the last two years. And yes, it is definitely a bootleg, not an official record. No one should buy or sell this garbage. -

The timeless Detroit classic sees the light of day again.
I've just played my copy of the (2013) re-issue. For what I'm assuming is also an unofficial release, the sound quality is not bad at all. The audio signal is good and loud enough for DJ playback, so no worries there. I'm happy to own this one-- after many years of digging in the filthiest of second hand shops hoping to come across an original of this foundation record, I've come up empty handed. This will do for now. Not sure how many of these were pressed up, but my advice would be to get in on it now if you want a copy! -
Edited 12 years agoConsidered by many to be the first Detroit Techno record of all time. Being released in 1981, and still being hugely relevant 32 years later is just astonishing. This track is pure BEAST. I dont know what these guys were on the day that it was made, but its apparent to me that these men were in the zone.
