Theorem – Ion

K hudbě nemám výtky. Krásná, hypnotická s jasným rukopisem. Prostě výjimečná.
Kupovat několik vinylů se mi (zatím?) nechtělo, tak jsem alespoň zakoupil CD, protože jsem to musel vlastnit i fyzicky.
Co mě ale hrozně zklamalo byl booklet. Strohý, nijaký. Autoři by si měli uvědomit, pokud teda chtějí i něco vydělat na fyzických nosičích, že i tahle stránka prodává a je to rozhodně přidaná hodnota. Zvlášť dneska si CD nebo vinyly kupují hlavně nadšenci a néni hezké s nimi, asi z lenosti, takhle "vydrbat";), Howgh

Ion is a compilation of the TH Series from Detroit's Dale Lawrence (aka Theorem), featuring the singles 'Shift', 'Embed', 'Cinder' & 'Fallout', all for the first time on CD. The album compliments a spectrum of melodic and muddy elements in both dancefloor and atmospheric avenues. Ion is Theorem's first full length since his 1996 debut Nano (Plus 8).Totally classic minimal pulse inspiration, in a league with Hawtin's Consumed-era efforts and contemporary German production.

An incredible release. I'm usually not a fan of Ritchie Hawtin or Minus records but this CD blows me away. If you own this CD, I highly suggest playing tracks #3 on in your car the next time it rains (with your window slightly rolled down). Especially track #4! talk about ambient. This is "Autobahn" for the new generation of electronic music listeners. off the dime!
