These deep-groove RCA-pressed beauties play back wonderfully, with glorious fidelity. Sounds like it was recorded yesterday fer chrissakes. Incredible sounding hot-wax...

Edited one year agoThe first Canadian (embossed Beatles) copies used "high" numbered sleeves (above 180,000, prefixed by the letter "A"). These covers were printed in the USA and measured 12 3/8 inches. The next Canadian edition had numbers beginning at 250,000 and were prefixed by "No" instead of "A". Original 4 "glossy" colour portrait photos and large poster were also printed in the USA. Later 'un-numbered' sleeves and photos were all otherwise printed by Ever Reddy. Earliest discs are RCA-pressed (large pressing ring), had plain white paper stock inner sleeves with round cut out centers to expose the Apple label. Discs are mastered in Canada. ** EMI Music Canada lists original release date as 1968 November 25. The mistakes with song titles found on the first US pressings were already corrected on Canadian copies. Rocky Raccoon is mistakenly written ROCKY RACOON on 'all' Canadian copies ".
