Here we have a great sounding Europian / German original pressing. The sound is fresh, punchy, airy and crispy.

Edited one year agoHaha, got this among 100 other records from the neighbor. Had this on cassette and cd, was a big fan 12yr old.
Took a trip down memory lane. I immediately noticed how good this sounds and then turned up vol. i mean.. HUGE, OPEN, DETAILED, PUNCHY, CRISP and VERY DYNAMIC (on EVERY level) WOW so much fun to listen to. Unfortunately not my cup of tea anymore, but what a nice job they did with this release.
Will play this again✌️ -
Compared to the most new records at all this pressing is miles ahead in sound. I'm not sure is it recorded analog back in the days but sounds great in every aspect. Yes in quiet ages a little bit noisy, but... Just pick a copy and you won't be disappointed!

Edited 2 years agoInsanely Perfect Rock Album, Arguably The Best Guns N' Roses LP. This Pressing Is So Fantastic I Feel Its The Best I've Ever Heard This Wonderful Album. A Powerful Beautifully Wide, Detailed And Rich Soundstage And All The Songs Really Rock Heavenly Heavily. November Rain Sounds Out Of This World Perfect Here, Which Sealed The Deal In My Mind And Ears That This Is A Must Own Essential LP. The Full Size Cover Art Is Beautiful To Behold, Axl Was Genuis When Coming Up With The Art For The Front Covers Of GN'R Albums.

“DMM STERLING” on all 4 sides, and it sounds good. Axl’s high pitched voice kind of hurts to listen to, which didn’t happen with the 2001 AAA release of Appetite for Destruction, so it leads me to think that this is a digital cut. However, its still the best sounding version of this album

Edited 2 years agoI think there is no need to comment on Guns N' Roses vinyls of their early years since more or less all of their pressings are great.

Edited 5 years agoIf you can find a good copy it is worth it. Excellent recording and the music shines on this pressing. Excellent bass too. I haven't compared it to any of the recent re-issues but I don't plan on seeking those out after getting one of these. My only complaint is the vinyl is a touch noisy in the quiet ages (intros to Don't Cry and November Rain) but not overly distracting. Also not uncommon with early 90's vinyl in my experience. Find a good copy and you won't be disappointed.
