This is indeed a great-sounding version, probably the best mastering of that album. Besides some very minor tape issues here and there, it sounds natural, powerful and dark - the way it should be. Nice stereo separation as well. Fantastic version !!!

Edited one year agoThere's unofficial replica Roadrunner LP's in circulate, just the NM/NM or Mint copies of original Roadrunner press are insanely rare today. We are not into the 90's anymore when there was plenty of store deadstock available. Personally I dont have problem with replicas/bootlegs as long they are not sold as originals.

Probably Slayer's best-mastered record! The bass is punchy and in your face. The lead and rhythm guitars are well-separated and aren't as loud or overshadowing as on the albums that follow. This European original pressing is for sure one of the very best-sounding!
