Symphonies of Sickness is many peoples favorite Carcass album with good reason. This album is full of good riffs, eerie leads, pummeling drums, and absolutely disgusting vocals. No one was as brutal and disgusting in the 80’s and that is not even a competition or up for debate. This is the birth of “Gore Grinding Death Metal” as everyone knows it. I think I like this more than Reek now. This is more memorable and has improved songwriting, Reek still beats it in the heavy department though. I really do enjoy this album, Carcass as a whole took time to grow on me for some reason, but I have been a fan of them for a few years now. This CD awesomely includes almost the entirety of Reek as bonus tracks as well! With this awesome first pressing, you will get yourself into over an hour of pure filthy goregrind death metal noise!

Favorite tracks from Symphonies of Sickness: Reek of Putrefaction, Exhume to Consume, Excoriating Abdominal Emanation, Empathological Necroticism, Embryonic Necropsy And Devourment

Favorite songs from Reek of Putrefaction bonus tracks: Genital Grinder, Regurgitation of Giblets, Maggot Colony, Pyosisified (Rotten to the Gore), Burnt to a Crisp

      Hey
I have a version of this that seems the same only it has missing pages in the booklet. There are no staples holes in the cover so it looks like it's ment to be like this. Does anybody knows this is a misprint?

      Greetings
